Oregon Zoo on a nice January afternoon

This past Saturday the weather was beautiful and it was actually warm out! So after I got off work, we took Patrick to the Oregon Zoo (a benefit of having a membership is that you are justified in going for only an hour or two). Many folks were leaving as we were heading in, so we’re happy to have missed the crowds. As Ivan over at Wild Pacific Northwest has shared recently, this zoo has a wonderful exhibit showcasing the animals of the Pacific Northwest. Here’s my video of two very energetic North American River Otters:
