Plenty more birds today, as Patrick and I participate in The Great Backyard Bird Count. As we observed, a flock of Sandhill Cranes flew overhead!

  1. I am feeling sorry for that lonely bushtit. We don’t get one at a time, we get twenty! He was probably lost, poor thing! :)

      My son spotted him, and using our bird book identified him. As I have seen bushtits in our yard before, I considered his identification good!
