Join us for Terra Tempo Time Travel Day at the Vista House at Crown Point.
Journey to the end of the Ice Age and experience the great Missoula Floods! The creators of the graphic novel Terra Tempo, Ice Age Cataclysm! will be at the Vista House at Crown Point State Park signing books and sharing the story of how the Columbia River Gorge was sculpted by the biggest floods to ever rip across the face of the earth.
Visitors can get a free photograph of themselves in an ice age scene from the book, talk with the author, illustrator, and colorist of Terra Tempo and learn more about the earth changing events at the end of the ice age. There will also be button making activities and live drawings by illustrator Christopher Herndon!

Join in the adventure as Ari, Jenna, and Caleb unlock the secret of time travel and journey back 15,000 years to witness the great Missoula Floods, the largest floods to have ever washed over the face of the earth. Crown Point State Park and The Vista House:
Millions of visitors driving from Portland through the Columbia River Gorge don’t realize the full impact of its beauty until they come around the bend near Corbett at exit 22 and see the famous building on the top of the cliff. This is Crown Point and the building is the Vista House.Directions: Historic Columbia River Highway, 11 mi. E of Troutdale. From Interstate 84, take Exit 17 or 22 and head east on Historic Highway 30. From the east, take Exit 35 and follow the highway west.
