Family Adventure Day
Saturday August 18th, 10:00am-1:00pm
The Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge is hosting the last Family Adventure Day of the summer this Saturday from 10:00am- 1:00pm. This community event promotes healthy kids, families and natural spaces. Nature enthusiasts of all ages are invited to experience the wonders of wildlife through Nature Stories, Pond Life Encounters, Wetland Art, and much more. Volunteer Naturalists will be located along the Refuge’s year-long trail with activities, games, and crafts for the whole family to enjoy. Visitors are also invited to explore the trails, wildlife overlooks, and interpretive areas on their own. Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge is located at 19255 SW Pacific Highway (99W), just north of Sherwood. This event is free and does not require advanced registration.
