Quick stroll through Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge

On May 30th we went to the Multnomah County Fair at Oaks Park (photos), and afterwards took a little stroll through part of Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge while heading to where we parked our car. Doing so afforded Patrick a first in nature exploring, seeing a chrysalis. Photos:

  1. I was at Oaks Bottom last weekend–the trail is completely flooded out. I got to see 2 mama mallards with babies and Canada geese parents with their goslings paddling about where I would have like to been walking…
