July visit to Tryon Creek State Park

When? July 7, 2011

Where? Tryon Creek State Park

Why? To get outside and explore nature – as simple as that (and to run from monsters!)

These photos look like home… most likely because I live blocks from Tryon and these green, green, green woods are my home 🙂 Do you know why slugs get that stuff stuck to their back end?? And that picture of the chickadee is fantastic!

Alyss – I’m not sure about that – do slugs secrete some sort of sticky substance at their end and thus catch debris on it? Not sure.

Thanks for checking my blog out and enjoying these photos. We love Tryon!
