Where? Tryon Creek State Park
Why? To get outside and explore nature – as simple as that (and to run from monsters!)
These photos look like home… most likely because I live blocks from Tryon and these green, green, green woods are my home 🙂 Do you know why slugs get that stuff stuck to their back end?? And that picture of the chickadee is fantastic!
Alyss – I’m not sure about that – do slugs secrete some sort of sticky substance at their end and thus catch debris on it? Not sure.
