This is the park in Multnomah Village that is destined to become a children’s nature park. Pictures from August 22nd.
This is my very VERY local park 🙂 I’ve been walking my dogs here for 20 years and love how forgotten it’s always been. I’m excited about the nature park idea, but I will also mourn the loss of my completely undeveloped little park. If you walk down the street that is at the bottom of the hill you get to an apartment complex that is built around a daylight creek. It’s kind of weird and out of place in the neighborhood, but neat to see the creek. And this is close to Gabriel Park, a great stop for looking at some fields and woods. Oh! And don’t forget Woods Park in this neighborhood, too.
Are you referring to Woods Memorial Park? http://www.flickr.com/photos/7230309@N05/sets/72157626476245562/
That’s the one 🙂
