Photos from the 2011 Wild Arts Festival

The annual Wild Arts Festival put on by the Audubon Society of Portland came and went over the weekend. I previously posted pictures of Patrick’s bald eagle painting for the 6×6 Wild Art Project, in which folks paint a bird on a 6×6 canvas to be shown and sold at the festival; the $40 for the painting – if sold – becomes a donation for Audubon. Unfortunately, our painting did not sell. But it is the participation that matters, right?

It was a pleasure meeting naturalist Robert Michael Pyle there, and getting a signed copy of his butterfly coloring book for Patrick for Christmas and my copy of his Thunder Tree: Lessons from an Urban Wildland signed. Enjoy the pictures:
