Whale Watching Spoken Here

Whale Spoken Here logo

On Monday Patrick and I are going to head to Ecola State Park in Cannon Beach to try to see migrating gray whales (Whale Watching Spoken Here). This time of year they head back north from spending the winter in Baja. We’ve attempted to see them twice before during their migration south (see here [Dec. 2010] and here/here [Dec. 2011]). I hope we get lucky this time. Volunteers will be on hand from 10am to 1pm to help visitors look for the whales at 24 sites along the coast during spring break week, March 24th-31st.

  1. Hope you see some! We’re in the area, too, and went to Ecola this afternoon, but no whales were visible, unfortunately.
