On the evening of April 11, Patrick and I joined a group of other families in Gresham to hunt for frogs. The outing was put on by the Columbia Slough Watershed Council, and they got Gresham city ecologist Laura Guderyahn to assist in searching for frogs in the wetlands of the Columbia Slough Water Quality facility on NE Sandy Blvd. When I say in the wetlands, I mean IN the wetlands! Laura also had live specimens of frogs, salamanders, and turtles on hand. Enjoy the photos:
When we got home, showers were had immediately!
