The day after that night time bat walk at Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge (), Patrick and I headed back there to participate in a nature walk, all part of the annual 2012 Tualatin River Bird Festival, this was back in May (photos). Am I behind in my outing posts or what?
Audubon Society of Portland was there with several of their education birds. Love their new van!
We got to make the last of the bat houses that were available for free. Lucky us! We have had it on a tree in our backyard but so far no sign of bats taking to it…
