Marshall Park Playground Committee meeting, Feb. 12

The Friends of Marshall Park, near our home, is planning to replace an old (and since-removed) playground. I believe it will have a “nature play” component to it. They will have their first committee meeting on February 12, 6pm at the Multnomah Arts Center in Multnomah Village:

Please join us for the first ever Marshall Park Playground Committee meeting! Before you delete this email – there will be snacks!!!!!

We are meeting on Tuesday, February 12th at the Multnomah Arts Center at 6 pm

At the meeting we will provide an update on the happenings in the park that we’ve been working on with the Portland Parks Bureau and most importantly lay out our plan for 2013. We will be covering everything from event planning to fundraising to communication. So if you are able to help – even with one little piece this would be the meeting to attend. We will brainstorm ideas, lay out the plan, get volunteers and execute from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions – We hope to see you there!
