Graham Oaks Nature Park in the winter

Although no blue sky was showing, Graham Oaks Nature Park () in Wilsonville is still a nice walk. Afton and I headed there in mid-February (photos). I saw a few birds, including an American Kestrel and a Western Meadowlark.

What’s that on top of the highest branch?

I saw them in flight, but was unable to get photos. One was hovering in the air, and I later read that this is their normal hunting behavior.

This view is where I saw the Western Meadowlark, but it did not show up in the photo. There’s a robin in their somewhere.
