Monday thought of the week: an infinite sphere

A thought:

Nature is an infinite sphere of which the center is everywhere and the circumference nowhere.

– Blaise Pascal, 17th century French mathematician, in Pensées (1669). The quote as above is not word for word from Pascal, but shortened from: “The whole visible world is only an imperceptible atom in the ample bosom of nature. It is an infinite sphere, the center of which is everywhere, the circumference nowhere.”
