VIDEO: Save the Freeman Tower Natural Area

Freeman Tower Natural Area is in SW Portland in the Multnomah Village neighborhood along Woods Park, and is planned to be sold by the Portland Water Bureau. Neighborhood residents are organizing to stop the sale, because the parcel of land is so much more than a water tower; it is also habitat for native species. Woods Park Advocates (Facebook) have a video about their efforts:

This Sunday, October 13, from 1-2pm there will be a Walk-about & Talk-about to learn more (rain or shine) at the site. Meet at 8625 SW 42nd St., Portland, OR 97219.
