Evening Owl Hike at Tryon Creek State Park

While no actual owls were spotted – except for the Spotted Owl (har, har!)- we had a joyful time (photos).

What Patrick would look like if human eyes were proportionally the same as owl eyes:

    Hi,
I work at a small International School in Mumbai India. I am teaching a couple of activities on animal adaptations. In the educational booklet I’m giving away, I am talking about owl eyes. The picture of your son showing size comparison is such an amazing shot. I would like to be able to use the picture to help kids visualize this concept. You would be fully cited and credited in the booklet. And I look forward to passing your blog onto my best friend who lived in Oregon.
    Sincerely,
    Cera Jackson
