Maricara Natural Area (
) is the closest natural area to our house that has maintained trails (thank you, Friends of Friends of Marshall and Maricara Parks!). At only 17 acres, it’s surprising how remote you can feel when in its interior. I did not have my camera with me on this walk, so I give you a few shots from my phone (photos):
