I started Exploring Portland’s Natural Areas in the fall of 2010, having recently moved to the city with my family. The creation of the blog was due in response to not finding a whole lot online about exploring in local nature with kids. After 7 1/2 years, it’s time to hang up my hat here. I thank everyone who has followed along, commented, and found useful the information that I provided. The blog will remain online, and the posts left up for anyone to still read.
